The 2024 BE Project – In a world where you can BE anything, what will you choose?
I chose intentional. I think it’s easy for me to get so wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of life and my business and that my friendships kind of get put on the back burner and I’m tired of that.
Meet Casey and Her Personal Reflections
I think it’s been a process and I can see the growth through my years and now I’m too intentional. It is important to me though, so every single year I’ve prayed over my word and I feel like this is my time to just be more thoughtful to slow down and to make the time and space for the things that are most important and I know I can do it. I love what I do, this word ties into my business as well. I want to be more intentional with the content that I put out.
I found the strength to get sober in the Lord. My family needed it and it was like you’re gonna lose your family. So I had to try, I had to do it. And for the longest time I was like well, we have to do this together. Me and my husband had to do it together same time.
My battle was a lot easier than my husband’s and then me being on this side of it and him struggling, it was hard for me to understand that. Because it was easier for me. That was just a 100% blessing from God and his path to us both finding it. I had to stay strong and he had to go through what he needed to go through to figure it out and figure out hey I like this is better than where it was. That was it was an absolute miracle and I’m thankful.
If you could go back and talk to yourself two years ago, what would you say?
Just to keep believing in yourself.
