In a world where you can be anything, what will you choose?

Community. My company name is Honey Homes and Land. I created that name and that brand with bee culture in mind. Bees strive to build community, continuance and connection. And that’s me. Also, bumblebees are aerodynamic, they cannot, they should not be able to fly. And yet they do. Like humans, everything in the world working against you, but you can still succeed. You can still build a community and continuance and connection.

 

 

Who or what inspires you right now and how does that show up in your life?

I’m reading the let them theory. I am learning a lot about myself in that process, but also, that I allow everyone around me to take advantage inadvertently. I don’t believe that everyone is purposely taking advantage of my generosity. Maybe it’s simply because I’m so incredibly involved and invested in their life and not in my own. I’m taking ownership of that.

 

 

What is something that you wish others knew about you that they might not see on the surface?

 

I’m pretty private and pretty quiet. I am more scared of social interaction that people realize.  I come across as confident and not scared, but put me in front of a bunch of people and ask me my name, something as simple as that and I will choke on the last four letters of my last name.
