In a world where you can be anything, what will you choose?
I think we’d all like to be happy or something like that, but joyful is a little bit deeper for me. Joyful means that happiness is kind of something you can force, right? And it may be even temporary, but joyful is deep.
Who or what inspires you right now and how does that show up in your life?
It’s been a rough year. 2024 was just a lot of change. I’ve got to be joyful no matter what’s going on around me. And so, Paul actually even talks about that in one of his books in the Bible. It says, joy is something that we’re commanded to do, and that’s what I want to be. I want to be like that. I just want to grasp it.
What is something that you wish others knew about you that they might not see on the surface?
I’m pretty transparent, I struggle and I’m not as positive as I always seem. I think that just because of my job, you know, a lot of what I do is, you know, talk to people about planning and money and their future and things like that. I want to be more real. I have a savior and that’s where, that’s ultimately where I have to go back to.
What is one fear or limiting belief that you want to let go of and why?
One fear or limiting belief I want to let go of is that I’m not good enough because, at the end of the day, my worth is not defined by what I do. My worth is defined by my creator, and I’ve got to just let go of not being good enough.
