The BE Project | Vicki and “Patient”

Every year, The BE Project invites people into my studio to pause, reflect, and choose a word that will guide the next chapter of their lives. It is not about perfection or reinvention overnight. It is about honesty. Courage. Becoming.

When Vicki stepped in front of my camera, she chose a word that surprised her.

“Patient.”

Not because it came easily, but because she knew she needed more of it in her life.

The BE Project exists because I believe that we are all evolving and every person deserves to see themselves as art while they are becoming the person they are meant to be.

Why She Chose “Patient”

Vicki shared that her word came from a desire to slow her reactions and soften the way she speaks to herself and others.

This year, she is practicing space.

“I want to respond instead of react.”
