Head Shot Photos for The Athena Society of Burleson
I was so blessed to have the opportunity to create new head shots for The Athena Society of Burleson. I had the opportunity a few years ago, and it’s always wonderful to meet up with these incredible ladies. Each of these ladies have been recognized for the community service and leadership in the community. If you have ever had the privilege to meet any of them, you will understand that it is well deserved.
Originally formed in 2003, The ATHENA Society of Burleson is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose membership consists of women in the Burleson area who have received the ATHENA Leadership Award. What started as individual women being recognized for their community service and leadership has grown into an organization that is well respected by our community in being a leader in philanthropy and hard work. The mission from their website reads as this: “Our mission is to assist women in realizing their full leadership potential, to participate in the community by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others, and to serve ethically, with dignity, grace and sensitivity.
To meet our mission, the ATHENAs actively seek ways to assist women and provide services for families dealing with cancer.
Some of the ATHENAs have assisted by sharing work place knowledge on various topics, and by providing internships where women can practice their newly learned skills.”
