One of the greatest things about being a Senior Photographer is that I get to meet some of the coolest girls and learn more about their dreams while we shoot. Ms. Abby is graduating this spring from Forney High School and when her dad hired me to be her Class of 2018 Senior Photographer, I was so excited. Not only is she a gorgeous girl – she has got big plans for the future and I cannot wait to see what she makes happen for herself. We spent the afternoon pampering her in hair and makeup and then we walked all over downtown Fort Worth.
Abby, Class of 2018, Forney High School
Have you ever met someone and you were completely blown away by them after just a few minutes of meeting them. That is Abby. I met Abby for the first time while she was getting hair and makeup done. Normally, I would have met her for a pre-consultation, but scheduled never aligned perfectly for her to be in town when I met with her dad. She sat in the makeup chair pretty quietly. She watched what was going on and smiled a lot. As soon as we got on location, Abby busted out with a couple of things that had me literally laughing out loud. I could see the embarrassment crawl up her dad’s neck, because you see, Abby speaks whatever thoughts are flying thru her mind. Luckily, it is pretty hard to surprise me anymore. I think it quickly became one of the things I loved most about Abby. She’s not too worried about what anyone else thinks and just walks to her own little beat. To me, that means she is going to carve out her own path and take charge of everything she wants in life.

Abby – Future Plans
After graduation, Abby is going to school and work on becoming a nurse. I love that she already has a strong plan and knows exactly what needs to happen to get there. When I watch her dad interact with her, I can see how proud he is of her. She may speak her mind, and sometimes it might be things that should be kept on the inside, but Abby is full of life and keeps everyone laughing. I have no doubt in my mind that Abby is a force to be reckoned with today and that will only become more true as she grows in life. When I originally asked her about what type of nursing she wants to go into, she told me she wanted to work with babies. Abby will begin attending TCC in the fall to start down her path of becoming a neonatal nurse.

Each and every one of my clients makes me so thankful that I get to do this every day. My high school senior clients fill my soul and remind me of the greatness that is coming in our little world. Even though we didn’t do Abby’s senior pictures in Forney, where she has gone to school, we had such a great time in Fort Worth. I think it was the perfect location for what she wanted for her senior session. Abby thank you for trusting me to create beautiful images for you. It was my honor to be your senior photographer.
Even though graduation is quickly coming up, we are still booking some last minute Class of 2018 seniors and already filling the calendar for our Class of 2019. Interested in booking a session – I would love for you to check out the Beautiful Evolutions website and see some more of our work or even schedule a complimentary pre-consultation call. Let’s chat about any questions you might have and go over all the details.

Caleb is graduating from Nazarene Christian Academy this spring. I was so honored to be his Senior Photographer. Not only is he handsome, he has a very kind soul. Check out more of his session below and wish him all the luck as he continues on his journey.
Caleb, Class of 2017: Nazarene Christian Academy
Caleb’s mom reached out to book a Senior Session for him and I was excited. I had met his mom through another client and couldn’t wait to meet her handsome boy. She had already told me early on that he was easy going and a pretty happy kid. As he stepped out of the car when they arrived, he was all smiles. Can I just stop for a second and tell you how great that is. Most boys keep their “tough” face on during their session, but Caleb was a genuinely happy kid and had a great smile to go with his personality. Caleb is currently playing baseball and you can definitely see that baseball is his passion. However, last year, Caleb and his football team won state. When he’s not playing sports… he’s watching sports. I loved that he brought along his jersey and glove – I think these are some of my favorite images. It’s so great to watch a senior in their element and doing what they love.

Caleb – Future Plans
Caleb will be headed to college in the fall – he’s currently receiving his acceptance letters in the mail. He will study Engineering, I have my fingers crossed that he gets into his top choice. Caleb is going to make some great things happen in his life. I know his mom and dad are so very proud of him. He has a quiet disposition and is very focused on accomplishing greatness. Caleb, thank you for allowing me to be your Senior Photographer. You are a remarkable guy and I can’t wait to see what your journey holds for you at https://casino10.net/.

A few months ago, I ran a contest on Facebook for a complimentary Senior Session. Kaelah was the lucky girl to win and I am so excited that I got to be her Senior Photographer. Kaelah attends Godley High School and will be graduating this spring. She was really looking forward to her session and I think her mom was equally as excited. We met at a location that we chose together made a plan for the outfits that she brought. What she didn’t know before this day was that I had one extra thing as a surprise for her. Her mom had seen some of the tulle skirts I have for some other clients and told me how much Kaelah loves tulle skirts. So I loaded one of them up and showed it to her at the beginning of her session. She was over the moon excited… I think it was just right for her.
Class of 2017 – Godley High School – Kaelah
Kaelah is a precious girl and I really enjoyed getting to know a little more about her. She attends her local church and is involved in the small groups and youth group. You can see her faith has carried her thru her life and that faith will continue to be the driving force in her life. Kaelah was super shy when we got started with her session – but my job as her Senior Photographer, I was determined I was going to get her out of her little shell. She is silly and has a beautiful laugh. It was long before we were sitting on the ground laughing with each other. Thank goodness she doesn’t know I’m really not that funny. Kaelah also has Aspergers… but let me just tell you – it will not stop her. This challenge she has been given makes her beautifully unique. She is strong, determined and resilient. Her sweet soul was a blessing to photograph.

Senior Photographer, Kaelah and the girls
Kaelah’s mom and younger sister came with her to her senior session. I’m not certain who was more excited… Kaelah or her little sister. The girls in this family are so sweet. We had a great time during her session and both her sister and her mom were so helpful. As we were packing up to leave for the day, her little sister asked to try on the tulle skirt. She loved feeling extra girly, but quickly admitted it was just a little too itchy. My hope is that in a few short years, I will be lucky enough to photograph Kaelah’s little sister as a graduate. Mom, Jennifer, thank you for entering the contest and allowing me to document Kaelah’s big moment as a high school graduate. Being her senior photographer was a great thing and I truly hope that she loves her images.

“Fashion says ‘me too’, style says ‘only me’.” -Geraldine Stutz
Remember that time you walked into a room and ten girls were wearing the same outfit? Awkward… Fashion is all about being unique and showing off your own personal style. What makes you different makes you beautiful. Shopping at thrift stores is the best way to get cute, unique clothes for dirt cheap!

While the idea of touching and wearing used clothing may sound unappealing to some, the adventure of searching through junk to find your dream item is worth it. You’ll be more excited about your new dress because of the effort it took to find it! The key to finding great items is to keep an open mind. Some days, you will find a lot of great pieces and other days, you will walk out with nothing.
Clothes are donated for all kinds of reasons like ordering the wrong size, outgrowing them, or just not liking them. It doesn’t necessarily mean they are dirty or out-of-style. It’s not uncommon to find BRAND NEW items, with the tags still on them, at thrift stores so realize that yes, there is a lot of ratty, outworn clothing at thrift stores, but there is also some beautiful and on trend pieces just waiting for you to find them.
When looking at items, plan outfits in your mind to incorporate that piece or find a way to bring new life to older pieces. Distressed mom jeans are super trendy right now but not everyone wants to spend $70+ dollars on them at the mall. You can DIY them yourself with a $5 pair from the thrift store. What a Steal!
Well, what are you waiting for? Hit up your local thrift store today and show the world your unique finds!

Rompers are “Overall” a Good Idea
Summer is right around the corner, which means unbearably hot days are on their way too. You don’t have time to plan cute outfits that will keep you cool too! You’ve got things to do and people to see! That’s why rompers and overalls are so essential for the season! It is a one-step process! No more struggling to find a cute top and a bottom that pair w
ell. Just throw a romper on and…BOOM, cute outfit achieved. They are so simple and perfect for your busy summer schedule.

Because of their simplicity, accessorizing is key to spicing up a romper or pair of overalls. Try adding a dainty bralette under a romper for a peep of lace. This extra touch adds a classy and romantic vibe to any outfit. Throw on a cute crop top under your overalls to make them more wearable. Crop tops are always a big trend so the options are endless!
Let’s not forget about shoes! The shoes define the entire outfit. They can tone it down for a everyday look or dress up a simple outfit to make it suitable for a more formal occasion. For a more dressy look, add a pair of strappy simple heels to accentuate the legs and make them appear longer.

If you want something more simple and casual, strappy sandals and open-toed booties will add a casual touch that will be your toes cool!
How will you incorporate your own signature style into this summer trend?

“Glowing skin is always in”
Question: How can I take care of my skin this summer?
Fact: Daily sun protection helps to stop the oxidation that causes blackheads to look black.

Summer is the perfect time to focus on your skin and give it a break from all the makeup. You can focus on getting a natural tan by skipping the bronzer. Your pores can get a breath of fresh air and you can focus on enhancing your skin without the foundation.
For example, wear makeup just the weekends or special occasions. During the week day, let your face breathe pamper by using face masks, creams, and oils. These are a few products you can use to keep your skin feeling fresh.

Face Wash
Try Aveeno’s Positively radiant skin brightening daily scrub. This face wash leaves your skin feeling hydrated, fresh, and clean. It includes exfoliating granules which remove impurities from the skin. It also leaves the skin feeling softer and brighter and burniva weightloss, perfect for the warm weather.
Moisturizer
A favorite is the Cetaphil daily moisturizer. It’s made for all skin types and includes sunscreen. This moisturizer is lightweight, which does not leave your skin feeling oily. Instead it leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
Oil
The Body Shop’s tea tree oil is perfect for getting rid of those stubborn blemishes. It helps to even skin tone and hydrate as well.
Masks
Freeman’s avocado and oatmeal clay mask is great for nourishing your skin. It really gets in your pores to remove unwanted dirt. After using this mask, your skin is left feeling radiant.
Other
ZO skin health’s exfoliating polish is excellent when you want to go an extra step to keep your skin feeling fresh. This polish gets rid of dead skin while adding a refreshing feeling for your skin.
For those stubborn blemishes, try Mary Kay’s clearproof acne treatment gel. Apply a pea size amount to the blemish and the gel works to remove and decrease it.
Aveeno also has a night cream which benefits your skin in many ways. It helps with tone, dullness, dark spots, texture, and blotchiness. This cream overall leaves your skin feeling ready for the day.
