We met Casey and one of her bridesmaids up at her wedding venue a few weeks before her wedding to photograph her in her dress. She wasn’t really certain she should do bridals and I am so very glad that we convinced her to take the time to do them. To see her in her dress was amazing and gave me a feel for how the wedding day would go. Firefly Gardens was the perfect choice for her bridals because we were able to take our time before the chaos of the wedding day and just focus on her. It gave her an opportunity to do one last trial on her hair and makeup… and every single detail was perfect.

Casey may have been one of my most laid back brides… she was up for just about anything. She knew she wanted beautiful images, but really just placed her trust in me to create images that showcased her dress. I think having the ability to tie in the wedding venue was really my favorite part of the session. As you know, Texas weather is a little temperamental and while the day we did her bridals was windy… her actual wedding day was freezing. So this day turned out to be perfect to have her walking all over the property.

Casey you are a stunning woman and I am truly honored that I was able to be your photographer and create these images for you. I hope that each time you see these, you remember how beautiful you felt and how beautiful you truly are.

It is always such an honor when someone asks us to photograph their wedding. This is one day that will mean the most to the couple. It is our chance to tell their story through images and give them something that they can look at for the rest of time and remember the love and emotion they share. It is even more special when we have the privilege to call them friends. We were so honored that these two beautiful girls wanted us to be their wedding photographers and celebrate with them.
Beth and Jessica – Getting Ready
Beth and Jessica reached out several months ago to talk about their wedding and what they had planned. I knew it would be beautiful and perfect suited for them. I had never had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Chapel Ducinea, so I was even more excited to see this beautiful Chapel. Beth and Jessica had planned a very private ceremony in one of the prettiest places to get married. Beth’s son Lorenz was a part of their day and that made it so much more special for everyone. The weather may not have been playing nice for us this day, but their sweet smiles shined through and the day was just perfect. Jessica’s sister Gracie was also there, to help coordinate everything and also to help with Lorenz. Jessica started her day with hair and makeup while Beth and Lorenz had a quiet morning at the hotel. Before long, it was time to get everyone dressed and ready to go. We decided to get some pictures at the hotel, Lone Star Court – because it was just way too cute. It was quirky, cute and just so perfect for Austin.

Beth and Jessica – The Ceremony
We made the drive over to the chapel and were just completely taken aback by the view. As soon as Melissa and I arrived, I knew this would be the perfect location for their ceremony. It was cold. So not normal for Austin, TX, but oh my gosh it was cold. Thankfully, Jessica had a beautiful fur stole to wrap up in while we took some pictures before the ceremony started. Jessica and Beth said their vows to each other and professed their love in front of two of their most important people. Lorenz, well, he wasn’t EXACTLY focused on the ceremony… but he was excited as well. They smiled and giggled as they exchanged rings and before we knew it, it was time to make it official.

It may have been cold – but this ceremony was beautiful and full of love. I keep looking at these images and I am so thankful this is where they chose to get married. What an incredible place to celebrate your love for each other.

If you have never seen the story of Chapel Dulcinea, you are missing out. Their website describes it best: “Chapel Dulcinea sits daringly on the edge of an ancient walking trail on the Wizard Academy campus, approximately 20 minutes southwest of downtown Austin. Yes, it’s an outdoor chapel and the weather isn’t always perfect. But life is like that, isn’t it? Anything can happen. Walk into your marriage with open eyes, ready for whatever might come your way, even on your wedding day.” If that doesn’t make you fall in love with it just by reading it, I just don’t know about you. While their words fit it perfectly, you just cannot imagine the view. What makes it so fantastic, besides all of that… it is free. They work strictly off of donations.

Beautiful Evolutions: Wedding Photographers
I know I said this earlier, but we truly do feel an immense honor when someone trusts us to document their wedding day. Melissa and I take a lot of pride in the work we do. In reality, we look at it as much more than just taking pictures. We want to make sure that your day is just as you imagined. We want to be a partner with you and do what we can to help your dream day become a reality. Beth and Jessica, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a part of your day, to document your love, and to be a witness to your wedding. We wish you all the best in this world and all the happiness and love you can share between each other.

Mickey and Todd’s wedding day was a perfect way to celebrate their love. We were honored to document their day at Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney, Texas.
THEIR STORY
Mickey and Todd Are Married!! I met Mickey earlier in 2017 as she had scheduled a session with me. We immediately fell into a groove and a friendship. That’s probably one of my favorite things about my job… I have the opportunity to meet some really cool people. She had recently gotten engaged and still needed to find her wedding photographer. I mentioned that I still had a few openings for the year, but I wanted her to see her images first to make sure we were a good fit. She knew before she ever left our first meeting that I would be her photographer. I am so thankful for that first meeting. Todd and Mickey met online and have been inseparable ever since. They are an amazing combination and perfectly balance each other out. Mickey has a vibrant personality and not only does she just radiate happiness and love, she adores Todd and the love he gives her. Todd is quiet and reserved, at least until you get to know him a little better. He’s so stinking funny and knows exactly how to love Mickey and gets her quirky sense of humor. It is absolutely beautiful to see them together.

THE VENUE
Mickey called me after choosing her venue, Avalon Legacy Ranch. She fell in love with it as soon as she pulled up to the front of the property. She sent me pictures and just gushed and gushed over it. I was certain it would be perfect for her day. However, what I didn’t realize was just how beautiful it really was. Pictures just didn’t do it justice. If you could imagine a beautiful log cabin in set back in trees… even then, it just is more amazing than that. To find something like this in DFW is remarkable on its own. Avalon Legacy Ranch describes it perfectly, on their website. “Experiencing the wooded pines and peaceful ambiance of East Texas without leaving the DFW Metroplex. Sounds too good to be true? Welcome to Avalon Legacy Ranch!Located 5 minutes from the Downtown Square of McKinney -Avalon Legacy is a 25 acre wooded destination that is unimaginably unique and magnificently beautiful – making it the perfect destination for your perfect day!” We fell in love with every inch of this property.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony was a small quiet event. Surrounded by family and friends, these two united their love for each other. The ceremony was held in the outdoor chapel which was just stunning. Mickey was given away by her son as her daughter stood beside her. Her incredible sisters played and sang Etta James’ At Last, a surprise to Mickey, which I’m certain left not one dry eye in those of us that watched them. Todd’s father stood beside him and beamed as a proud father. The ceremony was filled with laughter, love and a couple of surprises. As they look back at their images from this day, my hope is that they always feel the love that surrounded them and that they use that love to constantly infuse their marriage with the support and prayers from those that attended.

MICKEY AND TODD ARE MARRIED! NOW – THE RECEPTION
The outdoor patio was perfect for everyone to eat, drink and dance the night away. Mickey had worked hard to pull every little detail together and it was just perfect. Sisters, that hadn’t seen each other in many years, danced together. The music played on and everyone celebrated together. Mickey & Todd decided months before that they wanted something fun for dinner. A boring seated meal, is just not their style. We discussed some of the ideas together and ultimately, they decided on Easy Slider Food Truck. We had recommended Easy Slider to the couple, because first we are friends with them, second… their food is AHMAZING. They headed over to Dallas to check them out and fell in love with them as well. We were so excited to see the truck pull up. It had a constant flow of people waiting to get a taste of their sliders and I’m pretty sure everyone was happy with the couples choice.

Thank you Mickey & Todd. We are so blessed that you chose Beautiful Evolutions to document your day and be your photographer. We absolutely love you both and wish you a life of love. Todd, by now you have receivedyour orders for the military and while it may not be a sunny beach… we still have every intention to come visit you both soon.
We send all of our love, Brooke & Melissa.

Megan & Zach got married on June 9th at Diamond H3 Ranch in Weatherford, Texas, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for their special day.

Megan might be the most organized bride I’ve ever met. Not only was she super organized, she was extremely laid back and so appreciative of everything. When I tell you that shooting her wedding was a joy, that might still be an understatement. We had so much fun shooting and are so thankful that we got this opportunity.

One of the things that made this wedding a little more special is that Zach will be deployed again in just a few short months. So while every couple is excited for their wedding day – this day was a little more special.
When we arrived, Megan and her girls were busy getting ready. The room was filled with laughter and girls pulling together all the little details to make sure that Megan’s day was just perfect.

Zach and his guys arrived and waited patiently to start getting dressed. We had so much fun with the guys… they were up for anything we asked and they completely rocked the day!

The girls… gah! Have you ever seen prettier girls?? They were phenomenal and such a fun group.

The venue, oh my gosh the venue. Let me just say, this quickly became one of my new favorite venues. The ceremony took place out back and it felt as though Megan and Zach were married on top of the world. The view was amazing. The weather cleared up and the skies were just perfect. Every little detail that Megan had planned for their ceremony came together perfectly. The vows they exchanged were heartfelt and I’m pretty certain that there wasn’t a dry in the crowd. Sidenote: I may have been crying in the middle of the aisle… trying to make sure you get the shots and crying at the same time… no easy task.

The reception was a blast – everyone danced, young and old. Megan and Zach were completely surrounded by love and I think there wedding was just perfect.

Thank you for trusting us to be your photographers – we are so blessed to have met you both.

All my love
Brooke

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding of two beautiful ladies. Misty and Brandi were married on May 27, 2017 at Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, TX. The day was beautiful, the girls were beautiful, and we were lucky enough to document all the details.

These two girls have been together for a long time and when they decided to get married, I think cheers were heard around Texas. They were surrounded by so many friends and family. It was fun to look around the room that evening and see so many faces smiling back at them.
The day started pretty stress free and laid back. Both brides were pretty relaxed and just enjoyed the day and being pampered. As they were having hair and makeup done – all the little details were being finalized. Misty took a moment and looked around the room and said “I’m so proud of all of this. We did this.” It was beautiful. The girls did a fabulous job pulling everything together and it couldn’t have fit them any better.

The ceremony was absolutely magical. They stood together as the sun was setting and it cast a beautiful warm glow over the evening. Vows were said, laughter was had, tears were shed. These girls have spent a long time getting to this day. My hope for them was that it was everything they dreamed of and that they continue to look at each other years from now with this much love in their eyes.

Now… let’s party!

Thank you Misty and Brandi for allowing Melissa and I to be your photographers. The only better thing about each of our wedding clients… is when those clients are friends as well.
