In a world where you can be anything, what will you choose?
My word is assured. I have a tendency to second-guess myself, even though, when I give people advice, I always tell them to trust their gut—it’s usually right nine times out of ten. But then my heart and my head step in, and I start overthinking. I just need to stop. I need to take my own advice and just make the moves.#
What is something that you wish others knew about you that they might not see on the surface?
Something I wish others knew about me that they might not see on the surface is that I’m not judgmental. Since I quit drinking, people sometimes think that when I share my story, I’m coming from a self-righteous place. But it’s not like that at all. If I can’t use what I went through to help others, then what good is it?
What is one fear or limiting belief that you want to let go of and why?
I want to let go of second-guessing myself. Especially when it comes to the kids—I just want to know we’re headed in the right direction with them and not making big, huge mistakes. It’s hard to tell with the older ones because there are 25 decisions impacting their lives at any given moment.
