In a world where you can be anything, what will you choose?
We have a new house and it’s drastically changed my life. My living space used to be just a bedroom. Obviously, I could go into the kitchen and some of the other rooms, but my space to really do the things that I do was really just focused on a bedroom.
And so, the new house has really expanded my space. A lot of the things that I want to do, I finally have space for. It’s really time to grow roots and be able to do the things that are really going to satisfy me and make me thrive.
Who or what inspires you right now and how does that show up in your life
I think one of the things I’m really excited about is that I’m getting a lot of energy from, I wouldn’t say inspired, but part of a mentor program at work. I’m really excited about my mentee. (She’s quite determined, quite ambitious, and really knows what she wants and it’s exciting to have that energy come into space because she’s just on a mission to do really good things.
What is one fear or limiting belief that you want to let go of and why?
Excuses, right? And that’s part of why I picked this word. There’s no excuse. Just go and do the things that you want to do or be honest and say you didn’t want to do that.
What’s one piece of advice that you’ve received that has stuck with you, and why?
I think the thing that I keep coming back to is really creating the version of you that you really want people to understand.
