Megan & Zach got married on June 9th at Diamond H3 Ranch in Weatherford, Texas, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for their special day.

Megan might be the most organized bride I’ve ever met. Not only was she super organized, she was extremely laid back and so appreciative of everything. When I tell you that shooting her wedding was a joy, that might still be an understatement. We had so much fun shooting and are so thankful that we got this opportunity.

One of the things that made this wedding a little more special is that Zach will be deployed again in just a few short months. So while every couple is excited for their wedding day – this day was a little more special.
When we arrived, Megan and her girls were busy getting ready. The room was filled with laughter and girls pulling together all the little details to make sure that Megan’s day was just perfect.

Zach and his guys arrived and waited patiently to start getting dressed. We had so much fun with the guys… they were up for anything we asked and they completely rocked the day!

The girls… gah! Have you ever seen prettier girls?? They were phenomenal and such a fun group.

The venue, oh my gosh the venue. Let me just say, this quickly became one of my new favorite venues. The ceremony took place out back and it felt as though Megan and Zach were married on top of the world. The view was amazing. The weather cleared up and the skies were just perfect. Every little detail that Megan had planned for their ceremony came together perfectly. The vows they exchanged were heartfelt and I’m pretty certain that there wasn’t a dry in the crowd. Sidenote: I may have been crying in the middle of the aisle… trying to make sure you get the shots and crying at the same time… no easy task.

The reception was a blast – everyone danced, young and old. Megan and Zach were completely surrounded by love and I think there wedding was just perfect.

Thank you for trusting us to be your photographers – we are so blessed to have met you both.

All my love
Brooke

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding of two beautiful ladies. Misty and Brandi were married on May 27, 2017 at Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, TX. The day was beautiful, the girls were beautiful, and we were lucky enough to document all the details.

These two girls have been together for a long time and when they decided to get married, I think cheers were heard around Texas. They were surrounded by so many friends and family. It was fun to look around the room that evening and see so many faces smiling back at them.
The day started pretty stress free and laid back. Both brides were pretty relaxed and just enjoyed the day and being pampered. As they were having hair and makeup done – all the little details were being finalized. Misty took a moment and looked around the room and said “I’m so proud of all of this. We did this.” It was beautiful. The girls did a fabulous job pulling everything together and it couldn’t have fit them any better.

The ceremony was absolutely magical. They stood together as the sun was setting and it cast a beautiful warm glow over the evening. Vows were said, laughter was had, tears were shed. These girls have spent a long time getting to this day. My hope for them was that it was everything they dreamed of and that they continue to look at each other years from now with this much love in their eyes.

Now… let’s party!

Thank you Misty and Brandi for allowing Melissa and I to be your photographers. The only better thing about each of our wedding clients… is when those clients are friends as well.

Nikki and Stephen were married on March 31, 2017 at The Laurel. It may have been a windy day – but there was nothing that would stop these two beautiful people from marrying each other. The Laurel was a perfect location for their day and the little details they pulled together told their story just wonderfully.
She was a bundle of nerves the day of. I expected it though… this beautiful girl worried about every detail all along the way. I had already been telling her for weeks that her day was going to be perfect and we would handle anything that came her way. I walked in and she was full of smiles and she beamed with joy, as she should… she had made it to her wedding day. She was in the process of transforming into a beautiful princess and was surrounded by laughter and love. Final details were being taken care of, girls were getting pampered… and the guys were having fun being guys!

Meanwhile… they guys were just hanging out, being guys. They had a great day and were having a great afternoon by the time we met up!

Ready or not ladies… here we go! Bottoms up!

As they stood before their family and friends – they pledged their love to each other. They vowed to always be together, thru better or worse. Today, they became a team that will be unbreakable. They held each others hands and stood side by side and vowed that no matter what comes their way, they will face it together. They professed their love in front of the ones they cherish and their family became one.

Nikki looked absolutely stunning and all of her worries washed away as soon as she came back down the aisle. A quick stop for one more kiss and then off to the reception.

Toasts were given, memories were shared, laughter floated around the room. Nikki and Stephen celebrated the night away with those that loved them. We were so blessed to be able to document the day and the night for them. Their love is something to be seen. Stephen adores Nikki and she will always feel cherished when wrapped in his arms.
Their little girl Madison decided she was dancing as well. A first dance between husband and wife, quickly became a party of three. However, I’m pretty certain it was perfect and just the way it was intended to be.
Toasts were given and more memories were shared. We learned a lot about the newly married couple and the life they have joined and will share together.

Nikki and Stephen, I hope that your wedding day was all you dreamed it would be. Thank you so much for choosing me to document your day. It was a complete honor to witness your love and the details of your wedding.

All my Love
Brooke

It’s not often that I get to photograph a surprise proposal. Engagements… absolutely. But to be able to plan out and document such a big moment. It’s so amazing!
I had an event planned at Lost Oak Winery this past weekend to photograph some Valentine Mini sessions. Well… little did I know, I had perfect timing for the weekend that we chose. Up in Oklahoma City, a man named Dewan was making a big plan for a moment that would change the rest of his life.
Dewan called me and told me all of the big details. He had planned a BIG date day and was going to propose to his girlfriend. He already knew what he wanted to do and how we would orchestrate it. Together, we came up with a good story and a valid reason for me being there (mini sessions were the perfect cover). We nailed down the details of how to meet up, how to recognize each other and all the little loose ends were tied together.
I strolled over to them and gave them my big story, that I had spent all day photographing little kids and would love to spend some time photographing a couple that was so in love. I told corny jokes. I was my usual self, a complete dork. It all worked perfectly. Dewan and Patricia were amazing and we had so much fun with them. They were full of love and laughter.

My favorite thing about Dewan and Patricia…. their laughter. Let’s just be real for a minute… if you can’t laugh with each other, you are just missing out on the best thing in life.

So it was time… we actually had a really tight time frame to get everything done that Dewan had planned…. so I explained to Patricia that I had this idea that I wanted to see if I could make work. (Side note: Dewan had seen a video that he wanted to try to recreate. I think ours was WAY better.) Patricia waits patiently for me to give her the cue. She is supposed to turn around, throw the rose petals in the air and then Dewan will hug her tight. What she wasn’t expecting was Dewan to be down on his knee…. she almost missed it 😉

All in one quick moment… you could see it in her eye. She realized he wasn’t standing. She realized he was down on one knee. Then she realized he was holding a beautiful diamond ring.

I’m pretty certain that everyone at Lost Oak Winery was crying and cheering along. It was a beautiful moment and Dewan did such a great job of pulling of a fantastic surprise. Their love for each other is amazing. Not only is it strong, but it’s full of everything that counts. They will have a beautiful life together.

But wait… that wasn’t the only surprise that Dewan had up his sleeve. He had one more BIG thing planned for Patricia. I’m sure in her mind, she NEVER dreamed of a date day like this. They rode out to enjoy the sunset in a helicopter with Epic Helicopters… How stinkin cool is that???

Congratulations Dewan and Patricia… I am so blessed to have been the one to document this big moment for you. Thank you for trusting me!

By the way… My bags are already packed for New York… 😉
Much Love to you both

I met Nikki thru a recruiting job in 2015. Little did I know that less than a year later, she would become a 2017 Beautiful Evolutions Bride. I’m so excited for Nikki & Stephen’s wedding and cannot wait to share their story with you as it continues to unfold.
First things first, Nikki and Stephen needed some beautiful images to celebrate their love for each other and their enga
gement. When we discussed locations, I had Nikki show me a couple of ideas she might want to try to create for their images. After brainstorming together, we ultimately decided on the beautiful Eagle Mountain Lake Park. So many beautiful spots here and such a beautiful sunset.

Nikki & Stephen, thank you for spending some time with me and thank you for choosing me to be your photographer. Your wedding is going to be incredible and I am blessed that I get to capture the day and tell your story.

Much Love
Brooke
